The GUBI 9602 floor lamp, also known as the "Chinese hat", was designed by Paavo Tynell in 1935 for the Hotel Aulanko. Tynell is considered the great pioneer of Finnish lighting design. He is affectionately referred to as "the man who illuminated Finland". The highlight of the lamp is its striking shade, which seems to float on the narrow stand. Fine details made of polished brass set elegant accents. The 154 cm high lamp is perfect for soft ambient light, be it in a hotel lobby or in the living room at home.

The GUBI 9602 floor lamp is available in two lampshade designs, Rattan Wicker Willow and Canvas. The round lamp base is made of brass. The lamp stand is covered with rattan.
