further description and details
Combining timeless forms and perfect functionality was the guiding principle of the American designer George Nelson. His Bubble Lamp Ball demonstrates this principle par excellence and has long since taken its place in the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. Fine steel struts form the basis for a perfect sphere. The plastic material that surrounds them prevents glare and emits the light evenly in all directions. The result is a warmly glowing spherical lamp that can find its place in almost any living environment. It is available as a floor lamp, hanging lamp, table lamp and wall lamp and in different sizes. In combination with other models from the Bubble series, varied lighting structures are created. The George Nelson Bubble Lamp Ball Criss Cross is available in two sizes.
Material: Stainless steel frame covered with elastic, rough plastic film (plastic polymer).
