The CAB core leather chair is a bestseller from Cassina. Designed by Mario Bellini in the 1970s, the design is now one of the iconic pieces of furniture in the Cassina "I Contemporanei" collection. CAB is characterized by a self-supporting structure made of core leather, inspired by the relationship between skeleton and skin. The cover consists of 16 leather parts that are carefully processed by hand in many individual steps and are pulled onto the steel skeleton like a tailor-made suit and closed with zippers.
