Collection: Zanat

Zanat is a design-led manufacturer of handcrafted furniture and furnishings, produced in collaboration with some of the most important international designers and architects of our time. Zanat draws on a centuries-old family business that is famous in the Balkans for producing exquisite hand-carved furniture and furnishings. The wood carving tradition, which originated in the Bosnian town of Konjic, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Brothers Orhan and Adem Niksic decided to continue the family business in the fourth generation and introduce a new approach to furniture design and production: an approach that puts craftsmanship at the centre and shows how traditional hand carving techniques can inspire design, open up new possibilities and at the same time contribute to sustainable production.
