Collection: DEDON

Dedon, based in Lüneburg, was founded in 1990 and is one of the world's leading providers of outdoor furniture. In the late 1980s, former professional soccer player Bobby Dekeyser conceived the idea of creating an "outdoor living room" with durable furniture. The furniture was to be weatherproof and robust, thus equally resistant to the effects of sun, rain, and cold. Two elements were crucial to its success: First, Bobby Dekeyser developed a completely new fiber based on polyethylene. Second, it was the traditional Filipino art of weaving that caught the attention of the young visionary. During a trip to the island of Cebu, he established contacts and soon built his own factory for the production of Dedon garden furniture at the location.

Dedon will be exhibited at RUBY designliving in Berlin from March 2025.
