Capitol Complex Armchair
not of stock
The Capitol Complex Armchair by Cassina is a tribute to the Swiss architect and furniture designer Pierre Jeanneret. The design was created in 1960 when Jeanneret was working on numerous projects in the Indian city of Chandigarh together with his famous cousin Le Courbusier. Le Corbusier's Capitol Complex government building was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016. Pierre Jeanneret was largely responsible for the interior design and especially the chair design. A special compositional scheme that can be found in other furnishing objects from the Capitol Complex family is the "V"-shaped support.
